MINISTRY TEAM DESCRIPTION

 TEAM NAME: Youth Ministry Leader

TEAM SPIRITUAL GIFTS:   Administration, Discernment, Evangelism,   Exhortation, Faith, Helps, Hospitality, Knowledge, Leadership, Mercy,   Service, Teaching, Wisdom

TEAM ROLE: •   Meet regularly with students and develop personal relationships with them.

•   Provide a living example of Christ-likeness.

•   Assist in the direction, leadership and organization of  the ministry.

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: •   Maintain a regular and personal relationship with Jesus. This will allow you to be ready to help guide students through various life and biblical questions.

•   Attend weekly youth meetings during the school year

•   Attend various youth events throughout the year. To include summer events and winter retreats.

•   Invest in the daily lives of our students in grades 6th-12th.

•   Attend leader meetings to assist in the coordination and brainstorming of the ministry.

TEAM DESIRED OUTCOME: •   Our goal is for students to leave youth group with biblical literacy and an understanding of how to apply their acquired knowledge throughout their life.

HOW TO JOIN THE TEAM: 

•   If not a member already: become a member

•   Complete Child Protection Policy Course

•   Complete Spiritual Gifts Assessment (either online or hardcopy) and meet with an advisor.
