MINISTRY TEAM DESCRIPTIONS

EDUCATION - This team provides age-appropriate Bible teaching to children and adults and fosters Grow Groups that live out the gospel in a loving community of Christian believers.

EDUCATION: KID’S MINISTRY - This team develops and implements learning experiences for ages 3 through 5th grade. 

GROW GROUP LEADERS - This team is focused on leading our small groups in times of prayer, Bible study & discussion, relationship building, and service.

HOSPITALITY - This team insures that every person is properly Greeted, Directed, Treated and Seated on a Sunday morning, as well as, assimilated into the church family.

NURSERY - This team introduces our newest family members to the love of God by caring for their needs while their parents are participating in the worship service. 

OUTREACH - This team is focused on creating opportunities for our church family to build relationships with those outside the church, in an effort to lead them toward a relationship with Jesus Christ. 

PROPERTY & EQUIPMENT - This team helps the church be good stewards of the resources God has given us by maintaining the quality and functionality of the church property, both inside and out. 

REACHING IN - This team is responsible for congregational life and care.  They assist families following surgery/illness, provide funeral luncheons, send cards, organize meal portions of  Celebration and Church Picnic / Baptisms  and Sunday morning fellowship, and provide other church fellowship opportunities.    

SAFETY AND SECURITY - This team provides a safe environment for people to worship, along with serving as first responders to any medical emergencies. 

WORSHIP MINISTRY: LIGHTING - This team assists with lighting changes and design.

WORSHIP MINISTRY: MEDIA - This team provides the visual elements of worship (song lyrics, Scripture, scrolling announcements, video, etc.)

WORSHIP MINISTRY: PRAISE TEAM - This team partners with the Pastor in leading the congregation in worship through theme-based singing, the use of instruments, and the arts.

WORSHIP MINISTRY: SOUND - This team ensures microphones are functioning properly, instruments and voices are being heard and properly balanced, and needed sound from the media is being projected.

YOUTH MINISTRY - This team creates an environment where Junior and Senior High students (grade 6-12) can navigate the challenges of adolescence with a solid faith structure and mutual support from developing student relationships.
